Let’s be honest: even if you’ve done it before, visiting an adult use marijuana dispensary can be overwhelming. The options are seemingly endless, and due to the variable nature of marjuana strains, it’s not always easy to know you found exactly what you were looking for.
Luckily, we hire budtenders who are experienced in the industry and knowledgeable about our products. Their job is to guide you in the right direction so you feel confident about your purchase.
When you visit our Denver dispensary, we encourage you to come with questions for your budtender. The following questions are a few examples of what to ask so you can leave with all the info you need about your purchase.
This is every budtender’s favorite question, and it’s also the quickest way to get a great recommendation. Of course, our staff has their personal favorite strains and they’re more than happy to tell you about them when you visit our dispensary in downtown Denver.
Further, the budtenders know quality when they see it. Whether you’re shopping for flower, concentrates, or edibles, asking for their top picks is a surefire way to find a strain you’ll enjoy.
You might enter our Denver marijuana dispensary in search of products featuring specific cannabinoids, and your budtender can help you find them. For example…
Perhaps you’re seeking a strain with a specific ratio of cannabinoid content—
1:1 is the golden ratio for those seeking just enough of a psychoactive effect without feeling too “high” or overwhelmed; 20:1 is recommended for users seeking the benefits of CBD without a psychoactive experience.
If you don’t immediately see what you’re looking for, it doesn’t necessarily mean it’s not available. Just ask! Our budtenders will steer you in the right direction or recommend something similar if we don’t have it in stock.
If it’s your first time entering a marijuana dispensary in Colorado (or anywhere, for that matter), you might not know where to start. And that’s OK!
Our budtenders are familiar with our brands and strains, and know which of our products are best for beginners. They may recommend you start with a 1:1 (CBD to THC) product to start as it’s best to “start low and go slow.” In other words, try a small amount and wait to see how you feel before trying a larger dose.
Tip: 10 mg is the standard recommended dose, but if you’d rather start with a micro-dose, 5 mg and even 2.5 mg servings are available for certain products.
Whether you’re a medical patient or a recreational marijuana user, you might’ve heard about specific strains or cannabinoids being helpful for stress, insomnia, muscle pain, or any number of ailments you’re experiencing. Note: cannabis has not been approved for medical use by the Food and Drug Administration.
While we can’t guarantee the effectiveness of marijuana and don’t recommend replacing any existing medication with products offered at our dispensary, our budtenders are happy to suggest products that may be beneficial and are known for the effects you’re seeking.
Our budtenders are happy to offer product recommendations and answer any questions you may have. Take it from Alex M, a recent customer:
“My experience was wonderful. The staff was very helpful and answered all of my questions. I will be returning to this store for future purchases.”
